Charles Sheffield (aka Prince Charles), all of his known recordings:
His most revered record is "It's Your Voodoo Working" from 1961
Born: February 16, 1931 in Houston, Texas, USA
Died: March 27, 2010 in Beaumont, Texas, USA
"An important and influential musical figure from South Louisiana
with some records still revered in many circles, but Charles
'Mad Dog' Sheffield remains nevertheless a very elusive artist.
A rhythm & blues singer, who first recorded for Eddie Shuler's
Goldband Records in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 1955. Further
sessions followed at the same location and in Jay Miller's
Crowley, Louisiana studio until 1961, with a last session for
Jet Stream in New Orleans in 1965."
