The 26th Amendment has already been created and ratified, Hutt,
you illiterate lump:
Amendment XXVI
Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are >>>>eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or >>>>abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article
by appropriate legislation.
Worst Amendment ever. :/
Teenage boys were drafted to be shot and killed in Viet Nam, in a
part of the world that held no important US interest. Yet they were
the ones who weren't mature enough to vote?
I remember lots of people scoffing over the Domino Theory, which said
that if Vietnam fell to the Communists, neighbouring countries would
soon fall too. Yet, as it happened, Laos and Cambodia fell on
virtually the SAME DAY as South Vietnam fell.
I don't think the Domino Theory was widely discussed by voters in the
early to mid '60s,
and it can be fairly pointed out that there was US
interference in those two countries.
I have no idea how Indochina became partitioned into so many
countries. I don't think that's the way the French administered it.
It's another example of what was wrong with the Treaty of Potsdam.
Indochina should have become a Trust Territory and not returned to the fucking French.

Not to mention that it will be up to the presidential electors at that
point, according to the 12th Amendment, which was passed after problems
with unanticipated political parties and elections of 1796 and 1800.
It's too late to substitute another nominee.
This got fixed a long time ago.
