Two human stars of ôKingdom of the Planet of the Apesö say they are on the
side of the animals due to the current state of the planet.

The Associated Press shared a clip of stars Freya Allan and Owen Teague discussing the topic while promoting their new film. ôIÆm fully team ape,ö Teague says in the clip.

Allan agreed with that assessment. ôListen, IÆm obviously ù when IÆm playing Mae, IÆm team human, but IÆm team ape ù FreyaÆs team ape.ö

ôI mean look at the planet ù oh here we go àö she added, acknowledging that
her statements would cause controversy among listeners.

ôLook at what the humans have done to the Earth,ö Teague added.

Allan also said she was disappointed with human behavior, especially in
regard to their approach to environmental protection.

ôWell yeah, I dislike humans a lot,ö the 22-year-old actress said. ôYou know, you know thereÆs the odd one thatÆs like ù no I mean you know, there are
times when you see humans come together and you go, æoh isnÆt this lovelyÆ,
and there are times you go ù I absolutely hate us!ö

ôKingdom of the Planet of the Apesö was released on May 8. The sci-fi action film is the fourth installment in the reboot franchise, which is based upon French author Pierre BoulleÆs 1963 novel ôLa PlanΦte des singes,ö which, translated, means ôPlanet of the Apesö or ôMonkey Planet.ö Since its debut, there have been multiple film and TV adaptations, including five films
