    Boa tarde.

    Meu Notebook possui o Debian 10, Porém ele não reconhece meu Smartphone( Xaomi - REDMI 12c) quando conecto o cabo USB nele. Até mostra carregando a bateria do Smartphone, mas não aparece o aparelho, mesmo selecionando Transferência de Arquivos.

    The xiaomi site has instructions. It looks as if instruction 10 is the key. Good luck, Roger

    The Xiaomi 12 Pro doesn't transfer data to the PC by using a USB cable

    If you're having trouble transferring data from your Xiaomi 12 Pro to your PC using a USB cable, please refer to the following methods:

    1. After connecting a smartphone to a PC, the smartphone prompts options for [No
    data transfer], [File transfer/Android Auto] and [Transfer photos]. Then tap on [File transfer/Android Auto];

    2. Check if you are using the original USB cable since some USB cables are not capable of data transfer;

    3. If you are using an unoriginal USB cable, ensure that the USB cable is in good condition and capable of data transfer;

    4. If possible, check if another phone can transfer data with the same USB cable;

    5. Use a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes, the USB port may not be
    in good condition;

    6. Temporarily disable antivirus or firewall software on your PC and try again;

    7. Restart both your PC and smartphone;

    8. Try connecting your smartphone to a different computer to see if the issue originated from your PC;

    9. Check whether the charging port on the smartphone is clean or in good condition;

    10. Turn on Developer mode at first by navigating to [Settings] >> [About phone]
    tap on [MIUI version] multiple times (usually seven times) in quick succession. Then navigate to [Settings] >> [Additional settings] >> [Developer options]. Look for the [Default USB configuration] option and change it to [File
    transfer].

    A friendly tip:

    Instead of using a USB cable, consider using alternative methods like Wi-Fi transfer, cloud services, or the built-in Mi Share feature. We hope the above information is helpful. If the issue still occurs, we hope you could submit user
    feedback by going to [Settings] >> [Services & feedback], and wait for the future updates.
