If you're just testing, you could go cheap and get Office 2021, which Iplus-iso
believe is the last standalone Office you can buy.

What are you going to do with it? You can hook Access up to SQLite
using an ODBC driver, and make a GUI frontend to your data in no time.
It's for my folks, who are very tied-in to Access.
The question is, will Access run on Linux? Beats me, but if
proton can play high-end games on Linux, surely it can handle
Access? (Beats me, though.)
If Proton can play high-end games, just about any Windows program should
work in Windows. If they don't, it is usually because they're connected
to system files which aren't available in Linux.
I have the installer after a chat with MS support last night. I
already have a 365 "family" subscription, but there was no obvious
place to download Access 2021. Turns out, you don't see the Windows
download links unless you're on Windows. (I guess they're afraid
of someone trying to do what I'd like to do.)
I can probably supply you with the offline installer for Office 2021
ProPlus through my IceDrive account if you need it. It's 4.7GB.
