Well, I must have not added them correctly LOL. I've tried recycle web server, recycle terminal server, recycle all servers via umonitor.
I'll stop and start sbbs next. I assume that will fix the issue but was trying to avoid it. Not a big deal.
Re: Cannot see all message boards in webv4forumsA recycle all services from umonitor fixed it. I was logged in as sysop through web interface, so not sure why it could not see messages. I could see them via telnet sessions, just not web sessions.

I don't think a web server recycle is necessary.
Are you logged into the web UI as a user with sufficient permission to see the group and each board? If you're not logged in, does your web guest user have sufficient permission?
Are the boards empty? I think they'll still show up in this case, but I can't remember for sure. I did debate it.

Did you specify any ARS such that the message bases shouldn't appear via the web? For instance, an ARS specification like "PROT NOT HTTP" would mean they wouldn't show up on the web site.

It is unfortunate, that some people will not try telnet. So, I see the web interface as a way to get "new" users to try, and then get them to use

Someone might've already beat me to responding to this, but what about fTelnet? I enabled the web interface on my BBS, but I think I disabled most of the things it does. When you land on the BBS's webpage, it has an fTelnet terminal ready for you to connect in right there from your browser.

I've not tried to advertise per say on echoes, yet. as most things are still stock on my bbs. But I'm learning and trying to customize a few things, before I use those methods to draw people to the board.

It doesn't hurt to try, but your chances of converting a friend / acquaintance / colleague are slim to none.
Think about what your BBS offers to someone who already has the entire internet at their disposal. Maybe you've got something special, but probably not.
Think about how your BBS looks to someone accustomed to modern technology. Maybe they have an interest in retrocomputing or will find a more bare bones UI appealing, but probably not. Maybe you've got unique content they'll look past the UI to get at, but probably not.

I know this might come across as a bit discouraging, and that's not my intention.
My own BBS is a sandbox for me to play in and develop stupid things for. Other people are welcome to come along and use it, but I don't advertise apart from maybe being on a list or two. There are better places to go if you want active games, local message areas, I don't know what else. I have no interest in competing nor energy to do so.
